Spring Book Fair - Family Night

Kindergarten Orientation
Rising Kindergarteners and their families are invited to meet other Kindergarten Families, meet our wonderful Kindergarten Teachers, and learn the basics of how Kindergarten works at Wiley!

Join us for Spirit Day at Taco Bamba from 9am-9pm.

Raise Craze Celebration Day
Families are invited for lunch on the Wiley cafeteria lawn. Enjoy music from a DJ. Students will receive one free Kona Ice, and if we reach our school-wide goal of 1,000 AOKs, you’ll see Mr. Avery do something CRAZE-Y! Plus, we’ll announce the classroom with the most AOKs.

Spirit Day at Shake Shack
Join us for Spirit Day at Shake Shack Village District on Wednesday, 2/12!
How to Participate:

The Language and Electives team is excited to invite you to the Annual Electives Showcase on Tuesday, January 30th! Students will be sharing some of the exciting things they’ve been learning in their language and electives classes.

Fall Book Fair
Wiley PTA has partnered with local bookstore Quail Ridge Books to curate an exciting and educational book selection for our Fall Book Fair. A portion of the proceeds from the Book Fair will be donated to the Wiley PTA to help support Wiley students, staff, and community.
Students will first attend the Book Fair at the beginning of the week with their homeroom teachers, where they can browse books and create wishlists. Parents can send students to school with money to purchase books, or they can purchase books for their students.

National School Lunch Day (Day 1)
The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) serves nearly 30 million children every school day. President John F. Kennedy created National School Lunch Week (NSLW) in 1962 to promote the importance of a healthy school lunch in a child’s life and the impact it has inside and outside of the classroom.
Parents are welcomed and encouraged to join your students for lunch today!

Fall Festival
Mark your calendars and get ready to celebrate Wiley at the annual Fall Festival! There will be food trucks, bouncy houses, as well as lots of fun crafts and activities for the Wiley community to enjoy.

Spirit Night at My Way Tavern
Join us for Spirit Night at My Way Tavern on Monday, 9/23, from 11am-midnight.
Order online (My Way Tavern website only), over the phone (919-900-8273) or in person and Wiley PTA will receive 15% of sales.
Kindergarten Meet the Teacher
Kindergarteners will find out who their homeroom teacher is and get to visit their classrooms!
Meet The Teacher, 1st - 5th grade
1st - 5th grade families, please join us for our annual Meet The Teacher event on Friday, 8/23 at 2:30pm. You’ll receive your student’s homeroom assignment, pick up carpool/bus/walkers tags, turn in medication to front office (if needed), receive school supply lists and visit your classroom.
Wiley Band Spring Concert
Join us for an evening of music featuring Beginning Band, Continuing Band, and Wiley Band Alumni.
Spirit Night at Village Deli
Join us for Spirit Night at Village Deli from 4- 9pm on Wednesday, 4/3. Mention ‘Wiley’ when ordering in person and a portion of your sale will be donated to Wiley PTA.
Raise Craze Afterschool Family Service Event
Join us at Wiley’s Walker Pick up area for an afterschool Raise Craze Family Service event. We’ll pick up sticks, dispose of trash and gather Lost and Found items from K-2 playground up to 3-5 playground..
Mix 101.5 FM’s Carpool Casanova
Buckle up, Wiley Elementary! Carpool Casanova will be belting out the tunes on Friday, 3/8, during morning carpool!
We need you to show your best Wiley School spirit! Make sure to wear pink, sing along, make signs and just dance! Mix 101.5 FM will be giving away a School Spirit Award at the end of the year!
Spirit Night: Shake Shack
Join us for Spirit Night at Shake Shack in the Village District on Wednesday, 1/31 from 11am - 10pm.
When using the code “DONATEFRY” at checkout, Shack Shake will donate 25% of sales to Wiley PTA.

Our Charleston Wrap Fundraiser is now open and ends on December 4, 2023!
Spirit Night at Two Roosters Ice Cream
Two Roosters Ice Cream (Franklin/Person Street location) will donate 20% of all purchases made between 2:00pm – 9:00pm on Thursday, September 14 to the Wiley Elementary PTA.
Please share this opportunity with family and friends – the larger our turnout, the bigger their donation!
In-person orders: Mention “Wiley Elementary School” to the server/cashier so that it counts as a Spirit Night purchase.
Online orders: Go to Two Roosters and add “Wiley Elementary School” to the “Add a note for the seller” section (on Checkout page) to count as a Spirit Night purchase.

Fall Festival with Band Performance
Join us for our first Fall Festival on Wiley grounds since 2017! In keeping with Wiley's international focus, this year's Fall Festival has a French Carnival theme, with bounce houses, food trucks, pay-what-you-can pizza, face painters, balloon twisters, and more! All activities for kids are FREE!
Kick off the night with a performance by the amazing Wiley band at 5pm! Then head to the PTA Welcome Table - just look for the table with balloons! Kids will be given a commemorative wristband and a passport that they can get hole-punched as they move from attraction to attraction throughout the night. Kids who get four-hole punches on their passports can return to the PTA Welcome Table before 7pm to get their name entered into a drawing. Prizes include gift cards and toys!
Street parking is available on College Place, Calvin Street or in the Wiley parking lot.
